The Waves of the Oh!s and the Ah!s consisted of two days of performances and lectures curated by Chus Martínez, Expedition Leader of the second cycle of “The Current”, the first of three annual gatherings exploring the theme of Spheric Ocean.
The event hosted international guests, such as artists and researchers.

M+B Studio assisted TBA21-Academy’s production team and the artists with logistic and technical aspects regarding the general layout of the event, the scenography produced in Spain, the AV equipment, and other specific needs of the performances.

In the same days, at the Church of San Lorenzo/OCEAN SPACE in Venice, the Summer School #1 took place – an international educational program organized in collaboration with the Art Institute, FHNW Academy of Art and Design, Basel.

Participants to the Summer School #1 from the Art Institute included: Nora Berman, Anastassia Chaguidouline, Anna Diehl, Michael Etzensperger, Martina Henzi, Christopher Hunter, Jain Nikhil, Danielle Küchler, Till Langschied, Kaspar Ludwig, Simone Steinegger, and Jan van Oordt. Raffaella Naldi Rossano, and Luca di Bernardo from Fondazione Morra, Napoli, as well as Claudia Cisnero, Circe Irasema, and Berenice Olmedo from Fundación Alumnos47, México DF.
The summer school was mentored by Ingo Niermann, Mathilde Rossier and Georgia Sagri, with the special participation of Dayne Buddo and Joan Jonas.
